    Chen Dunde is a senior filmmaker and a professional writer and scholar of the diplomatic history of New China. His representative works, including Mao Tse-tung and Nixon in 1972; Establishment of Diplomatic Relations Between China and the United States in 1979: Deng Xiaoping and Carter Shaking Hands; and The Victory in 1971: George W. Bush Became Acquainted With New China, have been well received in China and the United States, and collected by the Presidential Libraries of the three American presidents. The New China Diplomatic Chronicles Series, his nine-copy masterpiece on the history of the New China’s diplomacy has been referred to as “historical records” of the New China’s diplomacy by China’s Guangming Daily and has been praised as “the anti-climax work on the major events of the New China’s diplomacy” by Japan’s Yomiuri Shimbun, and adapted into TV programs by “National Memory” column of CCTV Channel 4.
