Chao Sun
SUN Chao is currently head of the Belt and Road Ambassador Interview Program and founder of the New Silk Road Network; associate senior editor at the Development Research Center of the State Council; and adjunct professor at Shenzhen University and mentor at Renmin University Business School and Beijing Jiaotong University. Sun has strong hands-on international working experience including the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations, Time Inc., and the Wall Street Journal. Her academic pursuits have also taken her around the world, from Nankai University and Tsinghua University in China to Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to the University of Maryland, College Park and Harvard University in the United States. In 2008, as the youngest editor-in-chief of China Economic Report, Sun became the only Chinese female leader selected to participate in the Fortune–US Department of State Global Women’s Mentor program, where she was mentored by Ann Moore, the first-ever female CEO of Time Inc. In 2019, she was selected for the inaugural Caixin Global Young Leaders Forum.
