The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) Educational Foundation was founded in 1987 by a partnership of contractors, manufacturers and wholesalers. Its mission is to provide workforce development, management education and technical training to advance the growth and career success of those employed in the plumbing and HVACR industry.

Edward Moore
Edward T. Moore is the author of the Residential Construction Academy Plumbing video set as well as PLUMBING 101, PLUMBING 201, and PLUMBING 301. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering technology and a master’s degree in technology systems with a concentration in manufacturing engineering. Ed is currently the department manager and instructor for the Building Construction Trades and Air Conditioning Program at York Technical College in Rock Hill, S.C., where he has also served as an instructor for the Industrial Maintenance and Welding programs. A licensed Master Plumber for South Carolina, Ed is the owner of Moore Plumbing and Cabinetry. He has earned the NATE certification in Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps and is a certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Ed was previously certified as a HERS (Home Energy Rating Services) instructor through RESNET.
