The ecological perspective discusses biological, psychological and sociological influences on human behavior today. Finally, an emphasis on real-life experience presents vignettes and examples from "a day in the life" of social workers.

  • BRIEF HISTORIC BACKGROUND REVIEWS THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL WELFARE, SOCIAL WORK AND VARIOUS SOCIAL SERVICES. Students gain a solid background in social work from this unique historic overview.
